The song saw a resurgence in interest on TikTok in October 2024, largely as the subject of reactions calling it out for being perceived as cringe.

For example, on October 17th, TikToker[3] @pyn.devintg posted a video applauding how the vocalist could hit the high note in the song, but criticizing the rest of the song, garnering over 1.7 million views in five days.

On October 19th, TikToker[4] @000.aga.000 posted a video dancing to and making fun of the song, calling it a, Black Girl Confidence Bop," a reference to another viral TikTok video, garnering over 1.9 million views in three days.

On October 21st, 2024, music critic Anthony Fantano posted a review of the song to TikTok,[5] heavily criticizing the music, garnering over 2.5 million views in a day.

On the same day, TikToker[6] @shelbyhyoung, a voice actor, posted a video in which she reads out a Target advertisement to the song, garnering over 1.4 million views in a day. The video is meant to suggest that the song sounds like it was made for use in commercials.
