About
What Would Baby Me Think / Remember I'm Talking To Her is a TikTok trend where people assess their current vices or feelings of self-hatred through the lens of talking to their younger selves. The format generally followed is sharing a present selfie recording or photo of yourself, sharing a current insecurity or vice, and then showing your younger self's reaction to your behavior. The trends often follow the phrasal template, "being mean to myself but remembering that I'm talking about her," and are commonly set to a mashup of "Me and My Husband" by Mitski and "Apocalypse" by Cigarettes After Sex, as well as a slowed-down version of "I Ain't Worried" by OneRepublic.
