We're Gonna Crash refers to a webcomic in which a woman on a passenger plane is telling the man sitting next to her, "I feel kinda silly for admitting this but I'm actually really nervous. This is my first-" The man cuts her off, saying, "We're gonna crash," looking directly at her and the viewer. The original meme was posted to iFunny in 2022. A voiceover of the comic went viral on TikTok in 2024, leading to redraws and exploitable usage with other characters from memes, television and movies.
On December 31st, 2022, iFunnier[1] @Roal posted a two-panel comic in which a woman is talking to the male stranger sitting next to her on a plane, telling him that she's nervous about flying. The man looks at her and says, "We're gonna crash." In a year and a half, the post gained roughly 14,200 smiles (shown below). Around the same time, @Roal posted similar comics to iFunny.[2]
