"We're Doing a Sequel" is a song from the 2014 film Muppets Most Wanted. Screenshots from the song have been used in a series of reaction image macro.

Origin

On March 21st, 2014, the film Muppets Most Wanted was released in the United States. In the film, the Muppets find themselves at a loss on what to do after achieving success in their previous movie, and decide to film a sequel.

On February 28th, 2014, DisneyMusicVEVO's official YouTube posted the song. Within six years, the post received more than 1.6 million views (shown below).

On January 3rd, 2020, iFunny [1] user Mikescool16 shared a clip from the scene with a joke about World War III and the United States-Iran conflict. Within two months, the post received more than 64,000 reactions and 1,100 comments (shown below, left).

About two weeks later, on January 15th, Redditor [2] ThePotatoMasherM17 posted a variation about World War II. The post received more than 885 points (98% upvoted) in less than two months (shown below, center).

On February 13th, Redditor[3] Danny-DevitoTrashMan shared a variation about the United States' dropping of two nuclear bombs on Japan during World War II. The post received more than 44,000 points (96% upvoted) in less than one week (shown below, right).
