About

Well It's My Turn Pops refers to a viral video of a Black woman, Nicole Paris, beatboxing on The Jennifer Hudson Show in 2023, which became an exploitable video and audio element in a series of brainrot edit memes on TikTok in November 2025. In the original video, Paris is engaged in a beatbox battle with her dad, Ed Cage, and says, "Well, it's my turn, pops," when addressing him mid-performance. Well It's My Turn Pops became a meme predominantly due to the TikTok Niche Community.
