We Did It, We Time Travelled refers to a four-panel webcomic by artist SrGrafo in which two time travelers attempt to figure out which year they arrived to. Online, the webcomic has been circulated as an exploitable, primarily on Reddit.
Origin
On June 15th, 2019, comic artist SrGrafo posted a four-panel comic about two time travelers attempting to figure out which year they arrived to /r/gaming[1] and /r/SrGrafo[2] subreddits, gaining over 106,000 and 6,100 upvotes in three days, respectively.
Spread
In the following hours, the format received significant spread across numerous subreddits. For example, June 15th, 2019, post by Redditor StreetJob in /r/freefolk subreddit gained over 16,400 upvotes in three days (shown below, left).[3] A June 15th post by Redditor phantom_727 accumulated over 11,800 upvotes in the same period (shown below, right).[4]
