Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!! is an exploitable image macro of a text bubble featuring the phrasal template "Waiter! Waiter! More X Please," with "X" being something the shown character desires. The original meme features the speech bubble alongside a pitbull sitting down and reads, "Waiter! Waiter! More toddlers please," and was posted to DeviantArt in November 2022, garnering viral spread over the following years as people edited the associated image and captions. The original Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Frida, who appears in the meme, notably passed away in late June 2025.

Origin

The original image used in the meme was uploaded by Instagram[12] user @fredefrida on October 10th, 2020, which depicted a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Frida sitting on a concrete block, smiling and looking into the camera with a bandana on. The image received over 13,200 likes in five years.

On November 14th, 2022, DeviantArt[1] user DJTrickyOg posted a meme showing a pitbull with a handkerchief around its neck, its arms crossed and a speech bubble reading, "Waiter! Waiter! More toddlers please!" garnering over 1,100 views in seven months (shown below). This is the earliest known upload of the meme and was notably used as a reference to the macro meme trend surrounding toddlers vs. pitbulls.

Spread

The meme then began to spread over the following days across other social media platforms. On November 27th, 2022, Instagram[2] user ayyyple posted a video voicing over the meme, garnering over 1,800 likes in seven months (shown below). On December 9th, Instagram[3] user the_maymays_reloaded posted the original meme, garnering over 28,800 likes in six months. On December 14th, the voice-over video was posted to the subreddit /r/21stCenturyHumour,[4] garnering over 2,400 upvotes in six months.



On December 14th, 2022, Twitter[5] user @Iccuraus posted a redraw of the meme featuring Meow Skulls, garnering over 1,700 likes in six months.

On the same date, December 14th, a Redditor posted a version of the meme referencing the Amelia Earhart Eaten By Coconut Crabs meme to /r/HistoryMemes,[9] garnering around 300 upvotes in six months (shown below, left). On February 28th, 2023, Instagram[6] user mentos__illness posted a version replacing "toddlers" with "yaoi", which was reposted on March 1st by Instagram[7] user beefchomgle, garnering over 9,300 likes in three months (shown below, right). On March 3rd, Instagram[8] user spooky.miller reposted the Amelia Earhart meme, garnering over 29,000 likes in three months.



On April 27th, 2023, Instagram[10] user leagueoflegendsmeemes posted a version of the meme referencing League of Legends, garnering over 11,400 likes in two months (shown below). It was reposted by the League of Legends Community Facebook[11] page on June 6th, garnering over 1,800 reactions in three weeks.



Frida's Death

On June 30th, 2025, the dog featured in the original meme's image, picturing the Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Frida, passed away, which was shared to the animal's Instagram[13] page (@fredefrida), receiving over 34,300 likes in roughly three months.
