Video0 is a type of memes, particularly common on Discord. They are usually low quality videos, used as funny reactions, or simply as shitposts. This form of memes are 8MBs or smaller, since Discord's file size limit. Their name come from Discord's way of naming uploaded/downloaded video files. It is important to note, that many, if not most of these videos are not originally made for this format.

These memes are found in the meme or shitpost channels of Discord servers. They started gaining popularity in late 2019, and early 2020. Since then, they became one of the most common forms of memes found on Discord. Video0 type of memes are commonly posted on other platforms too, such as Instagram, or Reddit.

Notable Iterations

Video0 files can also be used as a way to pirate movies. Full movies can be downgraded to be smaller than 8MBs, thus shareable on Discord. These are barely watchable, but are still a free option to view films.

Most Famous Version

Probably it's most famous iteration is potin.mp4, or more commonly known as Wide Putin, or Putin Walking, a video originating from Youtube, but greatly popularised by Discord servers' meme channels.
