Uh Oh Sisters! refers to a snowclone spread on Tumblr in parody of makeup artist James Charles, who regularly refers to his audience as "sisters." In the parodies, people will write "Uh Oh Sisters!" then something humorously dire or violent.

Origin

On January 14th, 2019, Tumblr user fuwsona^[1] reblogged a post by user octoexpansions reading "UH OH SISTERS" with a character from Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends used in the Discord fuckmachines captioned "James Charles accidentally steps on a landmine" (shown below). The post gained over 67,000 notes in total.

Spread

The post inspired similar jokes on Tumblr over the following months. Some popular examples include a post by user foundationdown parodying an SCP Foundation post, gaining over 18,000 notes (shown below, left). Another popular post by user chivalfairy gained over 19,000 notes (shown below, right).

The format also saw some photoshop edits, though these were not as popular as the text posts. Examples include an Apex Legends parody posted by scp-1337 (shown below, left) and a Minecraft post by makatonerger (shown below, right).
