UCF Football Player Kwadwo Brathwaite Cutting the Line at Epcot TikTok refers to a viral video of a public freakout at Disney World's Epcot park in which a group of college kids, including a man named Kwadwo Brathwaite (KJ Brathwaite), allegedly cut the line and then berated the people behind them. Brathwaite claimed that he was a football player at the University of Central Florida (UCF), however, it was later revealed that he was lying. The video went viral on TikTok in late 2023, inspiring numerous reactions and backlash.
Origin
On December 12th, 2023, TikToker[1] @theme.park.vibes posted a video (likely a viewer submission) that read, "They ran through and cut the entire line in EPCOT," showing a group of college-aged kids arguing with and berating a group of people at Disney World. One man (later revealed to be Kwadwo Brathwaite) claimed that he was a football player at the University of Central Florida (UCF). In one day, the TikTok received over 5.2 million plays and 477,000 likes (shown below).

As the video went viral on the day of its upload, top comments left on the video alleged that the man's name was Kwadwo Brathwaite and that he did not appear anywhere on the 2023 UCF football roster. The same comment (shown below) even alleged that one could find Brathwaite's mugshot online.[9]
On the day of its upload, the video received numerous reactions and reposts, such as a video posted by TikToker[2] @travelagentwilliam on December 12th, 2023, gaining roughly 192,600 plays and 8,200 likes in less than a day (shown below, left). Also on December 12th, TikToker[3] @xolyssarosexo posted a similar video, receiving over 165,400 plays and 1,700 likes in less than a day (shown below, right).
During the same timeframe, the video was reposted to Twitter / X [4] as well as to Reddit on the /r/PublicFreakout[5] subreddit, where it received over 17,300 upvotes in less than a day.
UCF Football's Response
On December 12th, 2023, the official X[6] account of @ucf_football posted a response to the video, stating that KJ Brathwaite was not and has never been a member of the team. The tweet gained over 3,500 likes in less than a day (shown below).
Kwadwo Brathwaite's Response / Apology
On December 13th, 2023, KJ Brathwaite posted two videos on TikTok[7][8] in which he addressed the situation. He stated that he didn't cut the line but, regardless, he condemned his actions. The videos received roughly 405,200 plays and 227,900 plays, respectively, in less than a day (shown below, left and right).
