Some Fuck Everyone Else Type Shit refers to a copypasta and catchphrase used to satirically caption images of romance or friendship. The phrase was first uttered on Twitter in early 2020 by a female user who captioned a photo of her and her boyfriend's outfits with many finding the tweet cringe.

Origin

On March 14th, 2020, Twitter user paolagarrciaa tweeted a photo of her and her boyfriend, captioning it, "tryna be like this, just in our bag & genuinely growing together while being each others biggest flex. some fuck everyone else type shit," earning an unknown amount of likes due to paolagarrciaa making her account private a year later. She did this due to the backlash she received, with many Twitter[1][2] users replying to her on March 14th, reiterating that it was cringe. A screenshot of the tweet was posted by Twitter[3] user marqitosan_ on March 15th, 2020 (shown below, left) and paolagarrciaa's photo was posted to the Instagram[4] page baddieefits on March 14th (shown below, right).

On March 14th, 2020, Twitter[5] user notdogwrld used the catchphrase for a photo of a woman watching a computer in a sewer drain, gaining roughly 27,600 likes in two years (shown below, left). On March 15th, 2020, Lil Nas X tweted[6] a photo of Morty Sanchez from Rick and Morty holding the hand of a beautiful woman with the caption, "wen don’t nobody know but y’all 🙈," gaining roughly 112,100 likes in two years. Then, Twitter[7] user picafresamiada quote retweeted Lil Nas X, recaptioning it with the phrase and gaining roughly 75,100 likes in the same time period (shown below, right).



The catchphrase gained usage throughout 2021 and 2022, predominantly on Twitter. For instance, on March 1st, 2021, Twitter[8] user dusty_bawls used it to caption screenshots of the Is This Allowed? Vine, gaining over 7,000 likes in one year (shown below, left). On August 21st, 2022, Twitter[9] user ayeejuju used it to caption a photo of Hughie Campbell and his girlfriend Becca from The Boys, gaining roughly 16,700 likes in one month (shown below, right).
