The name came from a Tung Tung Tung Sahur Baseball GIF meme, in which Triple T is seen replacing a baseball player at bat. Triple T retained viral use on TikTok and Twitter / X, among other social media platforms, heading into late 2025.

On September 30th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @littlebitofeverything039 shared a video caption meme using the Tung Tung Tung Sahur Baseball GIF as the background with the caption reading, "I'm crine bruh, why they got Triple T on the field." Over three months, the video received over 28,900 likes. It is currently the first known use of Triple T to describe Tung Tung Tung Sahur.

On October 7th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @el12345790 shared an AI video generated with Sora, showing Tung Tung Tung Sahur on a Ring camera, saying, "Yo, twin, let me in." The video's caption read, "I just woke up and the Triple T is at my door." It received over 177,000 likes in two months.

On October 9th, TikToker^[3] @wemajorglazer shared an AI video, showing Tripe T giving a speech to a football locker room. The video's caption read, "I'm crine, why the Triple T giving a pep talk and lowkey motivating me?" Over two months, the video received over 177,400 likes.

On December 6th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @tralalerotralalate67 shared a video using a Tung Tung Tung Sahur TikTok filter, showing the character working a McDonald's fryer, with the caption, "They got Triple T working the fries." Over four days, the video received over 243,600 likes.

On December 8th, TikToker^[5] @dr.dulio shared a video in which he claimed that Triple T had "lapped" his Italian Brainrot peers, asserting that Tung Tung Tung Sahur was more relevant than the other brainrot characters. Over two days, his video gained over 70,200 likes.
