Travis Scott's Concert Pic refers to an image of rapper Travis Scott screaming and holding a microphone stand above his head while flames shoot behind him. After appearing on Twitter, the photo was joked about and photoshopped online.

Origin

The photo began circulating online as early as August of 2017. On August 19th, Instagram user c_ezary^[5] posted the picture to his account, where it gained 24 likes. The picture began going viral on November 15th, 2017, after Twitter user @bigracks^[1] posted the picture, saying "i cant stop laughing at this pic from Travis Scott’s concert tonight." The tweet gained over 97,000 retweets and 276,000 likes (shown below).

Spread

Over the course of the following few days, jokes about the picture spread mostly through Twitter and Reddit. Twitter user @J4CKMULL^[2] compared the image of Scott to Doodlebob, gaining over 160 retweets and 430 likes (shown below, left). User @MXCWest^[3] posted several photoshops he had made of Scott, gaining over 25 retweets and 25 likes (shown below, right).

The meme saw some spread on Reddit as well. On November 17th, Redditor Oriolebird9^[4] made a joke about Lil Peep's Death with a photoshop in /r/dankmemes, gaining over 210 upvotes (shown below, ).
