Origin

On June 28th, 2019, the network ABS-CBN uploaded the season three trailer for the soap opera Kadenang Ginto or The Golden Chain to YouTube. In the trailer, series antagonist, Daniela Mondragon (Romana) drags a red suitcase after being humiliated by her father's wife (shown below). Mondragon's apparent fall from grace. The trailer gained over 3.9 million views in six days (shown below).

On June 30th, 2019, Facebook page Pinoy 1 Million Jokes^[1] posted a series of images in which Mondragon is photoshopped into different scenes (shown below). The post gathered over 12,000 likes and 2,600 comments in five days.

That same day, Twitter users began photoshopping Mondragon into other images. Twitter user @Drjehanndeclar's^[2] images gained over 800 likes in five days (shown below, left) while @_mhalililgrda09^[3] images received over 200 (shown below, right).

On July 5th, 2019, YouTuber VERY WANG uploaded a video of actress Dimples Romana reacting to the meme (shown below). The video gained over 1,400 views that day.
