In June 2024, the phrase "Toilettes ananas nasdas" began making the rounds online, with YouTuber^[1] 24k_Sarahhh ღ posting the earliest known iteration of the meme on June 13th, 2024, gathering over 30,000 views in two weeks (seen below).

On June 14th, 2024, TikToker^[2] @ligne13merguezgamixtreiz posted a version of the meme that gathered over 28,000 plays and 2,000 likes in two weeks (seen below, left). On June 15th, TikToker^[3] @bencifamily92 posted the meme with the caption, "mon cerveau depuis que cette trend existe," which translates to, "My brain ever since this trend existed." The post gathered over 400,000 plays and 50,000 likes in two weeks (seen below, right).

Other TikTokers began sharing memes using the text-to-speech audio that said "Toilet Ananas Nasdas," including TikToker^[4] @logangardyn, who gathered over 500,000 plays and 37,000 likes on a June 16th video showing a woman, presumably his mother, mouthing the phrase (seen below, left). On June 24th, TikToker^[5] @billcollector480 gathered over 2 million views and 300,000 likes on a "Marlboro vs. X" video that featured the meme (seen below, right).
