Timothée Chalamet Shoe, also known as Timothée Chalamet Looks Like a Pointy Italian Shoe, refers to an image macro of an Italian leather shoe that a Twitter / X user compared to American actor Timothée Chalamet's facial features in a tweet from January 2020, saying it resembled him if the shoe was brought to life by a witch's curse. Jokes about the actor being compared to a medieval shoe also went viral in October 2021, sparking fan art and memes on X and Reddit over the following years.

On January 29th, 2020, X[1] user @_declander_ tweeted that American actor Timothée Chalamet "looks like a pointy Italian shoe that was turned into a real boy by a witch's curse." The post (shown below) amassed over 184,000 likes and 26,000 retweets in four years.
Spread
X / Twitter user @_declander_'s tweet went viral in a matter of a day, as X users posted montages and threads comparing Chalamet with several Italian shoes. For instance, on January 30th, 2020, X[2] user @ali_cashin compared two pictures of Timothée with Italian shoes (shown below), which amassed over 1,400 likes and 366 retweets in four years.
