About

The TikTok Buffer Video refers to a viral video on TikTok that crashes the application when it plays on a user's phone. The video shows a young red-headed boy sitting at a computer with headphones on. It then glitches when it cuts to a stretched photo of his face. The Buffer Video went viral on TikTok in October 2025. The video used the same technique as the 'Your TikTok Will Crash In: 07' Spinning Bread video from 2023. The video's virality led to multiple fake reposts in which bait-and-switch media was added to prank the viewer.

Sometime on or before October 6th, 2025, an unknown TikToker shared a video of a red-headed boy sitting at a computer with headphones on. The video then cuts to a stretched version of the boy's face. The earliest known repost of the original video was shared by TikToker[2] @bobnz38 on October 6th, gaining over 124,300 likes in three days.

It's currently unconfirmed who the red-headed kid is in the original video. However, some accounts, like the TikTok[3] page @rambletrick3, reposted some of his other photos and videos, likely before his account was deleted.

One photo reposted by TikToker[4] @rambletrick3 showed the kid holding up the Buffer Video on his phone.

Another image, seemingly of the same red-headed kid, has surfaced in numerous posts on Instagram[6] and TikTok[7] in 2025, showing him with his hair combed down and looking at his webcam for a selfie. Some on TikTok[5] call the boy Cepik Sebastian.
