Tiffany Haddish "But The Parasites In Me Want The Candy" refers to a catchphrase from the American comedian and actress that went viral on TikTok in April 2024. Haddish participated in the press junket for the 2023 film Haunted Mansion, and in an interview with IGN, she joked about how she doesn't want to eat candy, but the parasites in her do. The catchphrase came to be used as a sound on TikTok for people to discuss their impulsive thoughts and habits, becoming the source of memes and lip-dub skits in April 2024.

On July 27th, 2023, IGN's official TikTok^[1] account posted a clip from their interview with American actors Tiffany Haddish and Jamie Lee Curtis. The clip showed Haddish jokingly saying, "I don't want candy, but the parasites in me want candy. I don't want liquor, but the parasites in me want liquor." The post gathered over 6 million plays and 900,000 likes in 10 months (seen below).

On April 8th, 2024, TikToker^[5] @itsyaboysunday22 posted a clip using the sound and gathering over 6 million plays and 1 million likes in two days (seen below, left).
