It is possible, yet unconfirmed, that this post inspired the 2023 TikTok meme.

On October 11th, 2023, TikToker @hoop.angel posted a meme about throwing a 100 degree honey bun at a homeless man, although not specifically mentioning that it was microwavd, garnering over 2.2 million views in a month (shown below, left).

On October 15th, 2023, TikToker^[2] @mxnnysburner posted a video of a hunting dog barking up a tree captioned, "The homeless man screaming after slap the honey bun I microwaved for 10 minutes on his face," garnering over 888,000 views in two weeks (shown below, right).
