This My 4th Flu Shot This Month is a redraw meme template based on a photograph of nurse and model Dana Lee taken from behind to highlight her posterior, captioned, "This is my 4th flu shot this month," the joke being that the person keeps going in to get flu shots because they find the doctor attractive. Lee posted the photo on her Instagram page, mzdanalee, in September 2019, and the caption was added by an unknown poster that same month. The meme spread across social media over the following years, first becoming the subject of redraws in 2023 as users added other pop culture characters in place of the nurse.

On September 12th, 2019, Instagram^[1] user mzdanalee, a model and nurse, posted a photograph of herself standing in the doctor's office, writing in the description, "My fashion week look.. Nurse Lee 🤓," garnering over 39,000 likes in six years.

It is unclear who first added the "This is my 4th flu shot this month" caption to the image. The earliest known example of the meme was posted by theLeathernecks MC, Michigan Founding Chapter" Facebook^[2] page on September 19th, 2019, garnering 18 reactions in six years.

On September 19th, 2019, a now-deleted Redditor posted a screenshot of an unknown Facebook page that posted the meme to the /r/cursedcomments^[3] subreddit, garnering over 12,000 upvotes in six years.

On September 20th, the Ghetto Memes Facebook^[4] page shared the meme, gaining over 1,000 reactions and 720 shares in six years.

On December 24th, Redditor u/NYstate posted the meme to the /r/BlackPeopleTwitter^[5] subreddit, titling it, "An estimated 140,000 and 960,000 people get hospitalized from the flu but and estimated 25,000 to 30,000 get hospitalized by booty," gaining over 3,200 upvotes in six years.

On February 19th, 2023, X^[6] user @cellysticks posted a redraw of the meme referencing the mobile game Honkai Impact 3rd, garnering over 2,600 likes in two years.

The meme was then reposted to the /r/houkai3rd^[7] subreddit on February 20th, garnering over 260 upvotes in the same span of time.

On October 14th, 2025, X^[8] user @DumbWitchyy posted a redraw of the meme replacing the nurse with a leaked Nurse Joy model that will purportedly appear in the upcoming video game Pokemon Legends: Z-A, garnering over 49,000 likes and 3,200 reposts in a day.
