This Is What AOC's Boyfriend Looks Like? refers to a copypasta inadvertently started by a Twitter user who felt that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez' boyfriend Riley Roberts did not measure up to her in terms of attractiveness. Her tweet became a copypasta as others used the text and posted humorous pictures instead of a picture of Roberts.

On May 3rd, 2019, Twitter user @youngvulgarian tweeted a picture of Riley Roberts with the caption, "apologies for the blatantly mean tweet but THIS is what AOC's boyfriend looks like? incredible scenes, truly representing all the ambitious and stunning millenial women shackled to boyfriends who look like bin raccoons out there." The tweet has since been deleted.

Twitter users were quick to argue that @youngvulgarian had cherry-picked a poor picture of Roberts, and posted other pictures of him. These included tweets by @EstelleRW^[1] (shown below, left) and @moorehn^[2] (shown below, right).

Meanwhile, other Twitter users took @youngvulgarian's text and turned it into a copypasta, attaching various humorous images. Some popular examples include a tweet by @AliceAvizandum who used Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman in the Sonic, gaining over 60 retweets and 610 likes (shown below, left). User @hairyboomerdude made the joke with Hbomberguy, gaining over 50 retweets and 720 likes (shown below, right).

@youngvulgarian deleted the tweet but doubled down on her opinion in subsequent tweets (shown below).
