About
They/Them Energy refers to a viral video of nonbinary singer-songwriter Corook on stage at a concert, leading a chant with the crowd about having "they/them energy." They're seen in the clip wearing a blue shirt, backward hat and round glasses. The video went viral on TikTok in late January 2025 and sparked memetic usage as some people perceived it as cringe. LGBTQ+ meme creators also used the video for memes, skits and jokes.
