On January 18th, 2022, the U.S. Government launched a program where it would ship four free rapid tests to any American household that requested the tests through the U.S. Postal Service.^[1] On January 19th, Twitter user @shadesofgreaves^[2] tweeted an image of the cast of Full House, a TV sitcom where a large family shared one house, writing, "They would only get four free tests," gaining over 7,000 retweets and 82,000 likes in two days (shown below).
