"Them Changes" Sped-Up or Nobody Move There's Blood On The Floor refers to a sped-up version of the song "Them Changes" by Thundercat that became popularized on TikTok in October 2022. Thundercat released an official sped-up version of the song on streaming platforms following the song's success. The original sound was used over 880,000 times by November 2022, with a second sound using the same audio being used over 220,000 times in a similar timeframe.

Origin

In late September 2022, TikTokers began posting lip-dub and skit videos to a sped-up nightcore version of the Thundercat song "Them Changes." The TikTok audio is officially linked to Thundercat's TikTok account. One of the earliest videos to use the audio was posted by TikToker[1] @ilovehouseplants on September 25th, 2022, garnering over 2 million views in two months (shown below).

The audio became increasingly popularized throughout late September and October 2022 in lip dubs, skits and general videos, including outfit and makeup transition videos. On September 27th, 2022, TikToker[2] @cupiddeluxe posted a video dancing to the song, garnering over 3 million views in just over a month (shown below, left). On October 6th, TIkToker[3] @recider posted a horror comedy skit to the song, garnering over 30 million views in a month (shown below, right). On the same day, Thundercat released an official sped-up version of the song on streaming platforms including Spotify[4] due to the success of the song on TikTok. The song was played over 6.7 million times in a month.

On October 14th, TikToker[5] @lianajadee posted a video where she transitions outfits to the song, looking down at the floor when Thundercat sings, "nobody move there's blood on the floor" and transitioning on the rise, garnering over 2.7 million views in a month (shown below).

On October 28th, 2022, TikToker[6] @zacil.jimenez posted a transition video to the song, garnering over 7.1 million views in two weeks (shown below, left). On November 9th, Twitch streamer Pokimane posted a video to TikTok[7] doing the transition trend, garnering over 800,000 views in two days (shown below, right). On November 10th, Billboard[8] then published an article about sped-up TikTok songs climbing the charts focusing on the popularity of the song.
