"The Spark" is a song by Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew, two Irish hip-hop groups made up of several children between the ages of 9 and 12. The song, set to a drum and bass beat, was produced by non-profit community youth organization The Kabin Studio. It was posted online alongside a music video in mid-May 2024 and went viral across social media, inspiring reactions on sites like TikTok and X / Twitter.

On May 15th, 2024, The Kabin Studio, a non-profit youth organization in Ireland that produces rap music with children, released "The Spark" by Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew on YouTube[1] and TikTok,[2] garnering over 351,000 views and 1.3 million views respectively in two weeks (shown below).

The song went viral that month across social media. On May 16th, 2024, X[3] user @rte shared the video, garnering over 26,000 likes in two weeks. On May 17th, X[4] user @shockproofbeats quote-reposted the post, writing, "some Irish primary school kids made a tune and there is zero legitimate reason for it to go this hard holy shit," garnering over 75,000 likes in 12 days (shown below).
On May 20th, The Guardian[5] published an article about the song's virality. On May 21st, the video was reuploaded by TikToker[6] @hospitalrecords, garnering over three million views. The original sound became a popular source for lip dub videos. For example, on May 25th, TikToker[7] @jamesdoylefitness posted a video hyping up the song, which gained over 2.9 million views in five days (shown below, left). On May 29th, content creator Jacksepticeye posted a video set to the song on TikTok,[8] which earned over four million views in two days (below, right).
