About

The Mood Meter is an exploitable graph template in which the X-axis ranges from "unpleasant" to "pleasant" and the Y-axis ranges from "low energy" to "high energy." The graph's square is then typically filled with varying memes and catchphrases by meme creators, most often the phrases Fuck It, We Ball, It's So Over and We're So Fucking Back. The original graph showed multiple emotions and was shared on Instagram, later becoming a trending meme on the app, as well as on iFunny, in early 2023.

On January 16th, 2022, the original "The Mood Meter" image was shared on Instagram[1] by the user @thepresentpsychologist, earning roughly 42,400 likes in one year (shown below). The graph's X-axis ranges from "unpleasant" to "pleasant" and its Y-axis ranges from "low energy" to "high energy." Contained within the graph were varying emotions.
