The first chapter of the game is titled "The Man Who Rages Against The Storm," referring to Jose. The character became the subject of jokes due to the dramatic nature of his name contrasting with his cartoonish, friendly appearance.

"The Man Who Rages Against The Storm" is the first chapter in Balan Wonderworld. The level was first announced on October 30th, 2020 (shown below).



The level was announced with a piece of key art showing the farmer and the title of the level (shown below). This would later go on to inspire many of the "Man Who Rages Against The Storm" jokes.
