About

Thank You Thank You Thank You Bouncing Guy, also known as Thank You Thank You Thank You Meme, Thank You Guy or Thank You Bounce, refers to a series of viral videos of a man named Noah Huels (or noahjuels) squatting down with his hands on the ground and his legs wrapped above them, bouncing up and down as he repeatedly says, "Thank you." Huels began posting clips of himself performing the movement on his TikTok in mid-2021, with the meme forming and spreading over the following years, primarily in 2025 and early 2026, as others began recreating the moves or dance and using GIFs of him as reaction memes. Some also use clips of Huels bouncing as exploitables via green-screen templates.

Amid the Thank You meme's rise to virality, many online have perceived the movements as a sexual act or position, often referencing gay terms such as a "power bottom." Huels is purportedly married to a woman named Hazel and has a child.

Origin

On May 17th, 2021, Noah Huels (noahjuels) posted the first video of himself to his TikTok[1] page in which he's seen shirtless, staring into the camera as he squats down to the floor, placing both hands flat and lifting his legs up over his arms, bouncing up and down.

The video is set to the song "Body (Remix)" by U.K. rappers Russ Millions and Tion Wayne. In roughly five years, the post received over 3,900 likes and 300 comments, with many of the comments coming from other TikTokers referencing the meme months or years later.

On March 17th, 2024, Huels posted a tutorial video to his TikTok on how to do the move after being asked by another user, accumulating over 12,300 likes and 280 comments in nearly two years.

The earliest known example of Noah Huels combining the bouncing squat move with the "thank you" element comes from a video posted to his TikTok[2] on November 10th, 2024, which shows him wearing a navy blue tank top, black sweatpants and a pearl necklace while staring into the camera and repeatedly saying, "Thank you."

The post garnered over 341,900 likes and 6,400 comments in roughly a year, later spawning the meme in the following months.

Spread

Over the following months and years, Noah Huels continued posting numerous videos to his noahjuels TikTok page of himself doing the move in different settings and locations, typically including the "thank you" part.

For instance, on April 26th, 2025, Huels shared another example of himself doing the squatting move on his TikTok,[5] receiving over 558,500 likes and 6,600 comments in nine months.

Numerous TikTokers then began replicating the bouncing squat movements in other videos as the meme of Huels began garnering increased attention and it became a meme.

For example, on June 11th, 2025, TikToker[6] laughing_lens1 posted an example of a U.S. military member recreating it in a barracks, garnering over 242,900 likes and 6,100 comments in seven months.

On September 14th, 2025, Noah Huels posted another video to his TikTok[4] showing himself kissing a baby in a crib and then hopping up on a counter and performing the moves while saying, "Thank you," multiple times. The caption notably reads, "Thank you Hazel for making me a dad," with Hazel purportedly being his wife. The post garnered over 898,100 likes and 5,800 comments in four months.

Many meme creators also began using AI video tools to generate Thank You memes of famous people mimicking the movement. For example, TikToker[7] bluelock_guy1alt posted a version featuring several professional athletes doing the move on January 8th, 2026, receiving over 2,100 likes and 120 comments in roughly two months.

In late 2025, amid the meme's saturation online, compilation posts and videos began appearing online surrounding the meme. On November 28th, 2025, the YouTube channel Vitotheshortone posted a Thank You meme compilation, titled "Funniest 'Thank You,'" garnering over 301,000 views, 7,400 likes and 100 comments in two months.

The video of Noah Huels was also turned into a reaction GIF as it spread online. On February 1st, 2025, Tenor[9] user orcaz uploaded a GIF titled "Thank You Thank You Bro GIF" to the site featuring Huels bouncing up and down with a text caption reading "Thank You" added to it.
