Thank U, Next Album Cover Parodies refer to a photoshop meme in the Ariana Grande fandom wherein people use screenshots from a home video Grande posted to Instagram in 2018 to make them appear as though they are the cover for her upcoming album, Thank U, Next.
Origin
On January 23rd, 2019, Grande revealed the cover for her upcoming full length album, Thank U, Next.[1]
On June 24th, 2018, Grande had posted a video of black and white home movies taken from her family. The video is dated June 26th, 1996, and gained over 3.8 million views (shown below).
On January 27th, 2019, Twitter user @Tearskissy made a parody of the Thank U, Next cover using a screenshot from the home movies post, gaining over 2,500 retweets and 34,000 likes (shown below).

The tweet was boosted by Grande, who quote-tweeted it and wrote "yo honest to god …. i’d change it to this if i could."[2] She also put a link to the pre-order of her new album using the image made by @tearskissy (shown below).
Grande's appreciation of the image inspired other fans to create similar photoshops. User @remdeluxe posted a screenshot that gained over 390 retweets and 5,500 likes (shown below, left). User @typicalari gained over 120 likes with their post of a pig as the cover (shown below, right).
Grande tweeted some of her favorite examples. One included an image of Aaron Simon Gross' singing face, gaining over 3,700 retweets and 46,000 likes (shown below, left). Another of her Nonna gained over 6,000 retweets and 70,000 likes (shown below, right). The parodies were covered by Teen Vogue.[3]
