Tell Your Mom to Post More Anal Vids refers to a series of memes based on a stock photo of a group of students bullying a boy and demanding that their relative, partner or friend does more of a certain thing. Originating from a viral tweet posted in September 2019, the format gained popularity as a snowclone.

Origin

On September 18th, 2019, Twitter^[1][2] user @isthatyaenergy3 posted a stock photo of a group of students bullying a boy, captioned "And tell your mom she needs to post more anal vids on her onlyfans…" The post received over 3,200 retweet and 9,300 likes prior to being removed.

Spread

In the following months, the post received viral spread on Instagram, iFunny,^[3] Twitter^[4] and other platforms with multiple reposts and copies. On December 7th, 2019, Tumblr^[5] user fousheezy posted the earliest known derivative joke, with the post gaining 15,500 likes and reblogs in one six months (shown below).

The format did not see significant spread until on March 11th, 2020, Twitter^[6][7] user @ElBlueKnight made several posts of a meme which referenced Anisa Jomha's OnlyFans (shown below); the most popular of the posts received over 110 retweets and 970 likes in two months.

The viral spread of the post in the following days inspired more memes and redraws based on the format being created in the following months.
