Televangelist Kenneth Copeland Laughing refers to a viral video of televangelist Kenneth Copeland cackling after announcing that the media said "Joe Biden's president."

Origin

On November 8th, 2020, the Twitter account for Right Wing Watch published the clip of Copeland laughing and saying, "The media said, 'What?' The media says 'Joe Biden's president." The tweet received more than 10.7 million views, 31,000 likes and 43,000 retweets in less than two days (shown below).

That day, YouTuber Rob Beschizza published the video. The post received more than 23,000 views in less than 24 hours (shown below).

Additionally, on November 8th, Redditor crobofblack posted the video in the /r/PublicFreakout[4] subreddit. The post received more than 84,000 points (85% upvoted) and 8,800 comments. Redditor heaxghono shared the video on the /r/cringe[5] subreddit, receiving more than 47,000 points (88% upvoted) and 3,300 comments in less than 24 hours.

People responded to the video, by sharing the clip and making jokes about Copeland, including referring to him as "demonic." On November 8th, 2020, Twitter[1] user @hasanthehun tweeted, "perhaps the wildest part of kenneth copeland is that he literally looks and sounds like a demon." The tweet received more than 25,000 likes and 2,300 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, left). Twitter[2] user @TLCplMax tweeted, "You can not convince me Kenneth Copeland isn’t a demonic entity stuck in our mortal plane" (shown below, center).
