About

Taylor Swift x Football Edits refers to a series of fan edits made on TikTok that use clips of famous football players like Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr and songs by Taylor Swift, especially from her 2022 album Midnights. The pairing led to trending videos of confused Taylor Swift fans receiving the football edits on their "For You" pages on the platform. The trend started in late 2022, reaching a peak during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
