About
Talahon is a slang term that translates to "come here" in Arabic but is often used to refer to young Arab men in Germany. The "talahon" style is characterized by athleisure tracksuits, Gucci and Louis Vuitton belts and bags, and Nike Air Max shoes. The slang term and stereotype were popularized in 2022 after various young adult German men of Arab descent began posting videos shadowboxing to the song "TA3AL LAHON" by rapper Hassan. In July 2024, the AI song "Verknallt in einen Talahon" or "I Have A Crush On A Talahon" began gaining traction on TikTok among young German women making fun of the talahon archetype.
