Origin

It is unconfirmed when TikToker[1] @fall.zoiddd, aka Takuya Yagami, first posted "what have i started 😭✌️" under a TikTok video. Purportedly, Yagami first posted the comment under a What Is This Diddy Blud Doing On the Calculator video, and it went viral, inspiring copycats to post the comment elsewhere.

Yagami is known to have left the comment on many videos, primarily videos related to brainrot memes and trends. Yagami's name is likely inspired by the anime character of the same name from You-Zitsu.

One of the earliest known videos referencing the comment was posted on November 10th, 2025, by TikToker[2] @yungjayjayy_wrld, in which he lip dubs to the "What Is This Diddy Blud Doing On the Calculator" song under the comment, garnering over 1.7 million views in two months.
