Sword of a Thousand Truths is a series of four-panel exploitables. In the comic, a knight meets the sword called the "sword of a thousand truths," who begins listing of a series of truths. The volume of statements becomes so overwhelming that the knight tells it to "shut up," similar to the scroll of truth.

Origin

On March 17th, 2014, the webcomic Safely Endangered[1] published an installment entitled "The Sword of a Thousand Truths." When posted to Facebook, [2] the comic received more than 500 reactions and 80 shares.

On January 4th, 2018, an anonymous 9GAG [3] user posted a photoshopped version of the webcomic on the site. In place of the "truths" from the original post, the meme reads "traps are gay", "I enjoy killing," "pineapples are not apples" and "the metric system is the best system." Within eight months, the post (shown below, left) received more than 3,200 points.

In June 2018, Meme Center [4] user mybrotherisnotapig posted a variant in which the sword says, "Loss isn't funny." The post (shown below, center) received more than 150 likes in two months.

On August 13th, Redditor [5] TheMaskedCube posted a version in the /r/MemeEconomy subreddit. The post (shown below, right) received more than 2,000 points (89% upvoted) and 560 comments.
