About

Submissive Guy Gets Disappointed refers to an exploitable four-panel webcomic depicting a man of color daydreaming about getting dominated by a white woman after reading a book titled "All Whites Are Racist" and setting up a date with one, only for the real situation to differ significantly from his expectations. Circulated on 4chan since September 2022, the comic has been a popular source for edits and recaptions, with a Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm? version being one popular example.

Origin

On September 20th, 2022, an anonymous 4chan user posted a four-panel comic about a submissive race fetishist on the /pol/[1] board, opening a thread "Do non whites secretly wish whites were racist?" (authorship unconfirmed). The comic (shown below) depicts a person of color reading a book named "All Whites Are Racist," a "NY Times bestseller," and daydreaming about partaking in slave-master race play with a dominant white woman wearing a Confederate flag bikini. However, after matching with a white woman on Tinder and going out on a date, the woman instead cries and apologizes for being white.
