Yuru Camp (Laid-Back Camp in English) is a Japanese manga series marketed towards young men. It is written by Afro and published by Houbunsha. It that was later adapted to an anime series published by C-Station and licensed by Crunchyroll.

History

The Yuru Camp manga was written by Afro and published by Houbunsha.^[1] The plot focuses on high school student Nadeshiko who decides to see Mount Fuji. After fainting on the way there, she is rescued by Rin, a girl out camping by herself.^[2] The manga was first published in July of 2015 and has been serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward. The series has run for five volumes.

Television Show

In November of 2017, the trailer for an anime of the series was released (shown below).

The series is directed by Yoshiaki Kyōgoku and written by Jin Tanaka and premiered on January 4th, 2018. As of February 21st, 2018, there have been seven episodes released in the anime. The theme song was written by Akiyuki Tateyama.

Reception

The series has been well received by fans. On Myanimelist,^[2] the show has a rating of 7.98/10 from ratings of over 10,000 users and a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDb.^[3]
