Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator is an upcoming indie war sandbox game on Steam Greenlight by Brilliant Game Studios,^[3] which allows players to pit a variety of armies against each other, composed of various simulated characters, including Roman Centurions, chickens, fantasy creatures and penguins.

History

On December 6th, 2016, Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator was posted to Steam Greenlight,^[1] along with a trailer for the upcoming game showing an army of chickens fighting against medieval warriors (shown below).

Online Presence

On December 16th, 2016, Brilliant Game Studios posted a video on YouTube showing an army of Santa Claus characters battling 11,000 pengions (shown below). Over the next three months, the video received more than 1.1 million views and 1,600 comments. On December 29th, a video showing Chuck Norris battle against 4,000 Roman soldiers was uploaded to the channel (shown below, right).

On February 8th, 2017, the Brilliant Game Studios YouTube page uploaded footage of 25,000 soldiers attacking a castle (shown below, left). Within one month, the video gained over 1.3 million views and 3,000 comments. On February 20th, a developer update was released showing how players can control one soldier at a time (shown below, right). On February 27th, the /r/UEBS^[2] subreddit was launched for discussions about the game.

On February 22nd, the channel released a video showing one chicken quickly destroyed by an army of 20,000 Medieval soldiers (shown below). On February 27th, a follow-up video showing one knight battle an army of 20,000 chickens was posted to the Brilliant Game Studios channel (shown below, right).
