Pon and Zi

Pon and Zi is a webcomic created by Los Angeles artist Jeff Thomas aka Azuzephre in late 2004. The webcomics received viral spread throughout the 2000s leading into the early 2010s on sites like Tumblr, particularly among emos for the comic's signature dark yet often romantic style.

On October 26th, 2006, YouTuber Kenneth Rougeau published a video slideshow of numerous Pon and Zi comics over the song "Your Guardian Angel" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, garnering over 2.6 million views in 16 years (shown below).
