Pigeon Simulator is an announced game from Bossa Studios developer Kevin Suckert in which a player will control a pigeon bird and cause chaos for humans. Though only screenshots and a brief trailer have been shown as of June 17th, 2019, the game has generated significant interest on social media.

History

On June 3rd, 2019, Bossa Studios developer Kevin Stucker tweeted a GIF showing action from an upcoming project he was working on called Pigeon Simulator, gaining over 7,000 retweets and 23,000 likes (shown below).

On June 7th, he posted a longer GIF to /r/gaming,[1] gaining over 127,000 points. (shown below).



Online Presence

After Stucker pushed the game on social media, it quickly became a subject of excitement for fans. YouTube user Amersion posted a video in which he set Stucker's GIF to music to make a proper "trailer" for the game, gaining over 90,000 views (shown below).

This was reposted to Facebook pages 9GAG [2] and GameByte,[3] gaining over 44,000 likes and reactions and 30,000 likes and reactions respectively. The game was also covered by GameSpace,[4] where writer Ed Orr stated that it at first looked like an average simulation game until a hotdog cart exploded. Twitter user @junipergoat[6] wrote that they were excited about its release (shown below, left), as did user @prstskrzkrk (shown below, right).[7] As of June 17th, 2019, there is no release date or timetable set for the game.[5]
