The Panama Alien or Venomkin, sometimes known as K-25, refers to a series of purportedly AI-generated videos by TikToker @kinpanama documenting an alien-like creature made of black goo, similar to Venom and other symbiotes, that he supposedly found in a small meteorite chunk in Panama. The earliest video in the series was posted on August 29th, 2025. The TikToker posted videos throughout September 2025, with many going viral, inspiring reactions and reposts online, with some believing the videos to be real and others claiming they're AI.

History

On August 29th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @kinpanama posted a video of himself poking at a small chunk of rock. The description reads, "Meteorite that fell in Panama Pedregal, soon samples will be taken to the International University." The post gained over 2.2 million views in a month.

The TikToker uploaded numerous update videos about the supposed meteorite chunk over the next few days, showing something black with tentacles breaking free from the rock.

On September 9th, the TikToker^[2] posted a video of the creature emerging from the meteorite that gained over 6.6 million views in two weeks. The description reads what translates to, "I've been curious since this thing started to grow in my meteorite, why it does not grow in orbit, I think that the sun makes it grow too much, and it scares me."

On the same day, he posted a video to TikTok^[3] showing the alien under glass, writing in the description, "Some are calling him Venom," garnering over 15 million views in the same span of time. As the alien continued to grow, the TikToker stated he eventually locked it in a safe and put it in a building other than his home.

On September 13th, 2025, the TikToker^[4] uploaded a video in which he goes to visit the alien in the safe, writing in the description, "I went to see how it is, it has grown😰, the people who came yesterday to look for the samples blocked me, I thought they were serious," garnering over 2,8 million views in 10 days.

On September 14th, he uploaded a similar video to TikTok^[5] showing the alien in the safe, garnering over 15 million views in just over a week. The description seems to show his sanity slipping, reading, "When night comes I feel calm, I know it won't grow, every time I show it to them, when I light it, it grows and puts me in danger, no one has been interested in me."

Over the following days, the TikToker began to post videos of the alien swimming in the water after he released it. On September 22nd, 2025, TikToker^[6] @imagiplaytion posted a video seemingly deleted by @kinpanama showing the creature swimming, garnering over 21 million views in a day.

Online Presence

The videos of the black goo monster that resembles a symbiote like Venom inspired numerous reactions, reposts and memes online in September 2025 as it spread.

On September 14th, 2025, X^[7] user @AaronTuttleOK started reuploading the videos of the supposed alien with captions that wonder if they're real, suggesting it's either the greatest alien hoax of all time or completely legitimate. That day, one of his posts sharing the videos gained over 5,500 likes in about a week. In the post, he points out that beyond the alien videos, the TikToker's content is very normal and unrelated to effects or aliens.

On September 17th, YouTuber^[8] MindSeed TV posted a video in which he investigates the alien videos, garnering over 390,000 views in about a week. In the video, he suggests that the content could be real.

On September 18th, 2025, Vice^[9] published a story about the TikToker titled, "What’s Up With That Tentacled ‘Alien’ Growing From a Meteorite in Panama?"

On September 23rd, X^[10] user @DailyLoud reposted the video of the alien swimming through the water, writing, "BREAKING: The alleged alien which grew from a meteorite in Panama has reportedly been released into the wild, where it was seen moving and adapting to water," garnering over 8,000 likes in under a day. A Community Note was added to the post, claiming it is AI-generated.
