Paddington In Peru is the third film being developed about Paddington Bear, a fictional character in children's literature. The new entry of the Paddington film adaptations will take place in the Latin American country Peru and the production is on course to start in July 2023. On April 3rd, 2023, the online magazine Deadline^[1] revealed that production will begin on a new film for the Paddington Bear franchise on July 24th, 2023. The movie, titled Paddington In Peru, will address the origins of the character in his country of birth, Peru.

Online Presence

The announcement of the third film of the Paddington Bear franchise exploring his origins made Latin American fans excited for the movie. For example, Twitter^[2] user @marcaPERU shared an image of the tourist site Machu Picchu^[3] with a stuffed Paddington Bear toy to celebrate the new movie.
