About
Midnight Club is a open-world racing game series developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. The series is one of the early pioneers of the open-world video game genre. The series consists in urban competitive street racing in open city environments such as, New York, London, Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo and so on.
The series is a spiritual successor to the Midtown Madness series, the first two games whom Rockstar San Diego had worked on for Microsoft Studios when they were called Angel Studios.
Gameplay
The series has many race modes, such as Ordered Races, which are set up with checkpoints, rather than a closed track race or Unordered Races where you can trigger every checkpoint in any order and return to the start/finish point. The game's open environments give the player opportunities to advance to the next checkpoint through many different routes.
