About
MDFoodieBoyz, or MD Foodie Boyz, refers to a podcast featuring four teenage boys from Maryland — nicknamed Chub Perm, Nonchalant Kid, No Name and McLovin — who discuss food. They post clips to TikTok and Instagram Reels. Their podcast clips went viral because of their vapid discussions that lacked substance and nuance. The criticism was often related to their young age between Gen Z and Gen Alpha. They were given their nicknames by viewers based on their appearances. For instace, Chub Perm was given the nickname because of his heavyset weight and Zoomer Perm haircut. Nonchalant Kid was given the nickname based on the Nonchalant Dreadhead meme. McLovin was a reference to the Superbad character of the same name. MDFoodieBoyz gained traction in early 2025 and amassed parodies and memes en masse.
