Matan Even, also known as Bill Clinton Kid, is a YouTuber and internet personality best known for his troll persona and his stunts in which he interrupts public events and livestreams of notable influencers. First gaining widespread notoriety with his December 2022 Reformed Orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton stunt at the Game Awards, Even remained a subject of viral social media posts in early 2023 as his livestream crashes were shared online and the Matan Everywhere meme was spawned.

Early Content

Matan Even launched his YouTube[1] channel on November 20th, 2019, posting his first video,[2] an interview about the 2019 Hong Kong Protests with Owen Shroyer of InfoWars on December 5th that year. The interview accumulated over 56,000 views in four years (seen below).

On October 23rd, 2019, Matan Even flashed a "Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong" sign during an NBA game, with video game insider @Slasher sharing the clip on Twitter,[3] where it gained nearly 10 million views in roughly four years (shown below).

Reformed Orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton / 2022 Game Awards Stage Crash

Matan Even gained significant online notoriety by crashing the 2022 Game Awards ceremony on December 8th, 2022, during which he snuck on stage together with the game developers of Elden Ring as they were receiving the "Game of the Year" award[4] (video shown below).

The incident became the subject of viral discussions online in early December 2022 as the clip was widely circulated online, with users also sharing memes referencing the occurrence (examples shown below).

"Name Ten Books" and Sneako Interview

On December 16th, 2022, Matan Even made an appearance on NeonSniperPanda's podcast where he debated four OnlyFans models on various issues.[5] During the stream, Even challenged one of the guests to name 10 books. The clip was shared on Matan Even's TikTok[6] account, where it gained over 21.6 million views and 2.4 million likes in four months (seen below). On December 16th, Twitter[7] user @DNCHI77 uploaded the clip, which received over 1.9 million views, 11,500 retweets and 113,600 likes on Twitter in the same period.

On December 28th, 2022, Matan Even notably conversed with controversial influencer Sneako on a livestream.[8]

Matan Everywhere

Starting in February 2023, Even started deliberately seeking out IRL livestreams by prominent streamers and various events to show up at, seemingly at random. On February 20th, 2023, Even crashed Kai Cenat's livestream. On that day, the internet news Twitter[9] account @Dexerto tweeted the clip, which gained over 1.4 million views, 1,300 retweets and 44,700 likes in one month (shown below). Later that day, Even disguised himself to crash the stream another time, with a clip again going viral on Twitter.[10]

On March 11th, 2023, Twitter[11] user @KreidShine shared a group photograph from a local Super Smash Bros. tournament, with Matan Even standing among the players.

On March 19th, basketball player JaVale McGee posted an Instagram story of Even annoying him during a soccer match by filming him with a phone camera. On that day, Twitter[12] user @shannonsharpeee shared the video, with the clip accumulating over 5.8 million views, 2,700 retweets and 56,500 likes in 10 days (shown below).

Later on March 19th, Twitter[13] user @Lillyfilacta_TO posted a thread of Matan Evan's random appearances that gained over 690 retweets and 3,500 likes in one 10 days.

These and later appearances of Matan Even on random livestreams and TikTok videos inspired memes about Matan Even being omnipresent and being the main character. For example, on March 20th, Twitter[14] user @TLex2nd photoshopped Even into a historic photograph next to Joseph Stalin, with the image being widely circulated in the following days (shown below).

On March 21st, 2023, Twitter[15] user @diyiruchiectomy posted a meme that gained over 2,800 retweets and 41,900 likes in eight days (shown below, left). On March 28th, Twitter[16] user @BitchAssBowie posted an Everywhere I Go, I See His Face meme that garnered over 130 retweets and 2,000 likes in one day (shown below, right).

On March 27th, 2023, Matan Even then performed on stage with rapper Denzel Curry.[17]

Matan Face Reveals

Following the spread of Matan Everywhere clips and memes, several gimmick accounts on Twitter got Matan Even to do fake face reveals for them, including @albert12798,[18] @s8n[19] and @image_origins.[20]

On March 30th, @albert12798 was the first account to post a fake face reveal with Even, with the tweet[19] gaining over 7.9 million views, 29,100 retweets and 448,500 likes in one week (shown below).

On April 1st, @s8n,[18] @image_origins,[20] @Earth_Updates,[21] @tragicbirdapp,[22] @hourly_shitpost[23] and several other gimmick accounts posted their fake face reveals featuring Matan.

Personal Life

Matan Even was born in 2007. He is Jewish and can speak Hebrew. According to Even, his thick accent is natural, although he appears to sound different in his older videos.[24]
