Overview

Liv and Sedona "Who the Fuck Did I Take to Mexico" Breakup Drama is a series of nine viral videos by TikToker @livvvy.louu (real name Olivia Stabile) in which she exposes her ex-girlfriend Sedona Prince (a basketball player) for her behavior on a birthday trip to Mexico that led to their breakup, during which she nearly abandoned Liv in the jungle at night, threatened to and arguably did cheat on Liv and acted abusive towards her throughout their stay. Liv posted the videos in mid-August 2024 and they went viral in the following days, inspiring reactions, analysis and some calls for Sedona to be removed from her basketball team, the Texas Christian University (TCU) Horned Frogs. The title of the video series is a reference to the "who TF did I marry" TikTok video series.

Background

On August 14th, 2024, Olivia Stabile, aka TikToker @livvvy.louu, posted a series of 10 videos to TikTok,^{[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]} the first being an introduction in which she reveals the details of a birthday trip with her ex-girlfriend Sedona Prince, a basketball player for the TCU Horned Frogs, that led to their breakup. The videos garnered over a combined 19 million views in a day.

In the first two videos, Liv claims that she and Sedona got on a plane at 3 a.m. to go to Mexico for a few days in celebration of Sedona's birthday. On the plane, Liv spilled some beer on Sedona's leg, resulting in her sitting on the opposite side of the aisle for the rest of the flight. They landed and got on a shuttle, which got into a crash. On the third day in Mexico, Sedona gets upset that she isn't making any of the plans and requests that they rent ATVs. They do, but Sedona wants to go exploring at night in dangerous areas, leading them to the jungle in the "pitch black."

Liv tried to convince Sedona that they should come back in the morning. Sedona got mad, pushed Liv off the ATV and left her in the dark. Liv started "running for her life," unable to see anything in the dark of the jungle. Sedona returned but flipped the ATV. Liv asked if she was okay, but Sedona started blaming the whole situation on her. The ATV wouldn't start. A car filled with 10 people in the back arrives and tows them back to the hotel, with Sedona steering the ATV as it's getting towed. Sedona screams and yells, swerving the ATV as they travel back. Liv then says she "blacked out" and flew off the ATV, tearing up the side of her body. When she comes to, Sedona is telling the man driving the truck to leave. They start walking back to the hotel. Neither has their phone on them.

Liv claims that as they walked back to the hotel, Sedona was skipping back and forth and celebrating "being single," having claimed that she and Liv had broken up while arguing. They get a taxi and return to the hotel. Liv wakes up the next day, Sedona's birthday and loves on her, saying they can pretend yesterday didn't happen. Sedona shoves her, says she's still single and ignores her. Liv called the ATV company, they found the crashed ATV and she paid $800 for it. Then, Liv went to the pharmacy to get medical supplies to care for Sedona and herself.

A medical team came up to their hotel room and treated Liv first, because her injuries were worse, which Liv claims that Sedona got jealous or resentful over. Liv helped care for Sedona the whole day but was not appreciated for it. Liv claims they had an 8:30 p.m. dinner reservation but Sedona decided at 8 p.m. that she didn't want to go and wanted to spend the rest of her birthday alone.

Sedona leaves the hotel room and Liv sleeps for two hours, angry. She wakes up to texts from Sedona (which she shows in the video) apologizing and claiming that she's currently getting a tattoo, asking Liv to "pull up." Liv gets to the tattoo parlor and sees five girls taking shots with Sedona, three of whom Liv knows and two of whom she "now hates." The girls are flirting with Sedona. Liv starts taking shots, and then Sedona tells her that some of the girls want to go back to their villa and have a threesome.

The girls leave, claiming they'll come back to get them once Liv is finished with her tattoo, leaving only her and Sedona in the tattoo parlor. Liv claims that Sedona immediately became cold once the other girls left. The girls return later and a girl named Francesca then tries to sit in Sedona's lap. Liv said "no," making the vibes awkward. They arrive at Francesca's villa where Liv and another girl go to the bathroom together.

The friend asks Liv "what's your girlfriend on?" and Liv starts crying. The friend supports Liv and promises to help keep the other girls off her, offering her a place to stay in the villa. Then, Liv and the friend go downstairs to see Sedona topless in the pool with Francesca, pouring a shot down her mouth.

Liv says she's going to leave Sedona and Sedona threatens to hook up with Francesca if she does. Liv says, "Okay bet," and some of the other girls take Liv's side. The girls go to another villa, but Liv realizes she has Sedona's phone. The friends return the phone, urging Liv to stay there. When they return, they're screaming, calling Sedona a psycho. They claim that when they returned the phone, Sedona gave them the "scariest look" they'd ever seen.

The friends leave, but Liv stays, exchanging numbers with the girls. When Liv returns to the villa where Sedona is with Francesca, she finds Sedona in a bush saying her ankle is broken. Liv gets them a taxi and they go to the hotel. Liv wakes up the next day trying to make things better, but Sedona pushes her away again.

Sedona claims she told her mother that they're broken up. Sedona then calls her mom in front of Liv. Liv claims Sedona was lying, she hadn't told her about the breakup yet. Sedona tells her mom that Liv ruined her birthday and Liv says to her mom, "Why don't you tell her you tried to fuck girls in front of me?"

This is described by Liv as the "straw that broke the camel's back." She books a flight back to the U.S. and Sedona removes all their photos together from social media. Liv then claims that Sedona threatened to sue her if she talked about the details of the breakup on social media. Liv claims she never wanted to take it to social media, but people noticed they were no longer together and wanted answers.

Sedona purportedly stayed in Mexico for 12 more days after their breakup and wouldn't answer anyone's texts but Liv. Liv texted her to make sure she made it out of there okay. After Liv got her things from Sedona's apartment upon her return to the U.S., they went "no contact."

Prior to this series of videos, as early as May 2024, rumors that Olivia Stabile and Sedona Prince broke up were swirling online, including claims that Sedona cheated on Liv.^[11]

Later on August 14th, 2024, Liv posted a video to TikTok^[12] thanking viewers for their positive responses to her video and for their support, garnering over 1.1 million views in a day (shown below). She also encourages others to share their experiences and not be afraid to share their negative experiences.

Online Reactions

The series inspired reactions across social media in mid-August 2024 as the videos garnered virality. On August 14th, 2024, X^[13] user @lemonadenormani posted one of Liv's videos, writing, "sedona prince needs to be dropped from @tcuwbb at a minimum! but honestly the police need to be involved," garnering over 1,000 likes in a day. That same day, numerous videos were posted to TikTok^[14][15] reacting to the series (examples shown below).
