Little Witch Nobeta is a 3D action shooting game being developed by Pupuya games featuring anime girls. The game is currently in early access on Steam and available in Japanese, English and Chinese.

History

A demo of the game was released on Steam on March 23rd, 2020 with a single boss and one magic type.^[1] On June 24th, it's early access was released on steam with the inclusion of 3 additional bosses and 3 more magic types. The game has been in development for over 3 years, with earlier test builds dating as far back as January 2018.^[2]

Reception

Little Witch Nobeta has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam from over 2,500 steam reviews. The Daily Dot ^[4] wrote the game, "This cutesy dungeon crawler is more than meets the eye." The game's early access sold over 50,000 copies in its first week.^[3]

Online Presence

Since the release of the demo, players have compared the game with Fromsoftware’s action series Dark Souls, gaining its nickname “Loli Dark Souls” and "Loli Souls." Streamers Monteblanco and Vic & Hope used the phrase in their videos about the game showing off gameplay.
