About

Gone With the Blastwave, also known as GWTB, is a webcomic created by Kimmo Lemetti that primarily follows the adventures of two members of the Red Army, Pyro and Sniper, as they make their way through the ruined, war-torn city they have been stationed in. There are also two spin-offs set in alternate timelines which are based in the far-future and a fantasy land, respectively.

History

The comic was created by Kimmo Lemetti on February 2nd, 2005,[1] and serves as a side-project of the artist whilst he works on other projects (first panel shown below).

Because the comic is Lemetti's side project, its upload history is sporadic and months can go by between installments. However, to make up for this, Kimmo[2] occasionally posts one-off drawings and parodies on his Twitter, as well as sharing any fan art that catches his eye.
