Donkey Kong Country is a computer-animated television series based on the Super Nintendo video game of the same name. The series was developed and first aired in France, before premiering in the United States and Canada. The series ran for two season and 40 episodes.

On September 4th, 1996, Donkey Kong Country first aired in France. The following year, on August 15th, 1996, the first episode of Donkey Kong Country, entitled "I Spy with My Hairy Eye," aired in Canada (episode below).^[1][2] The series featured many of the characters from the video games, including Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Dixie Kong and more. The show also introduced original characters, such as Bluster Kong, Junior the Giant Klaptrap, Kaptain Skurvy and more.

Home Video Release

On May 12th, 2015, the first season of Donkey Kong Country was released in DVD. Two years later, the second season was released. However, all episodes of the series are available on iTunes.

Kongchetumare

Kongchetumare is a portmanteau of the vulgar Chilean word "conchetumare," replacing the prefix "con" with "Kong" It is the first reference of a series of word games that begin with "kong," referencing the video game character Donkey Kong.

You May Spank It, Once is an exploitable two-panel image series of a character viewed from behind, usually showing their buttocks.
