History
On September 4th, 1996, Donkey Kong Country first aired in France. The following year, on August 15th, 1996, the first episode of Donkey Kong Country, entitled "I Spy with My Hairy Eye," aired in Canada (episode below).[1][2] The series featured many of the characters from the video games, including Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Dixie Kong and more. The show also introduced original characters, such as Bluster Kong, Junior the Giant Klaptrap, Kaptain Skurvy and more.
Home Video Release
On May 12th, 2015, the first season of Donkey Kong Country was released in DVD. Two years later, the second season was released. However, all episodes of the series are available on iTunes.
