An IMDB[1] page describes the movie's plot as "Two angels (Jessica Wylde & Tracey Adams) are sent back to Earth to provide some sexual satisfaction to the mortal humans." The earliest online post of the film dates to May 8th, 2018, reuploaded on the adult website XHamster, as Redditor[7] user @mataabuelas4 revealed on April 28th, 2024.

On April 28th, 2024, YouTube[2] user @Ampersand127 uploaded a safe-for-work version of the film (shown below), which amassed more than 149,000 views and 2,100 likes in three days.

On April 28th, 2024, Reddit users One-Truth-5867 and south_pole_ball made a post to /r/everyoneknowsthat[3] after discovering that the song Ulterior Motives comes from the 1986 adult film Angels of Passion. The song's origin has been searched since 2021 and is considered one of the key music in the lostwave canon, which is a subgenre of lost media.

On the same day, YouTube[4] user @michel9041 uploaded a "family-friendly" version of "Everyone Knows That (Ulterior Motives)," which amassed more than 227,000 views and 8,400 likes in three days.

Angels Of Passion Ironic Fandom

The adult film also became a viral topic of discussion on Reddit, as user @buttegg[8] posted on April 29th, 2024 a full essay reviewing Angels of Passion's plot. The post amassed more than 307 upvotes and 51 comments in two days. On April 28th, 2024, Redditor[9] noticed that Christopher David Booth, "Ulterior Motives" songwriter, had a cameo in the movie (shown below). The safe-for-work clip amassed over 276 upvotes and 30 comments in three days.
